The EPC – Who does it and what will it show?

An EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) is a report undertaken by a fully qualified Domestic Energy Assessor or Home Inspector. They will visit your home on a day and time convenient to you to compile the information that is needed in line with the EPC requirements.

The EPC will indicate the properties energy efficiency using A-G ratings such as those used on kitchen appliances. It will show where improvements can be made to the property to reduce carbon emissions and fuel bills and indicate how much this will cost against how much will be saved.
